Role Description The Developmental Psychologist will provide comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, and ongoing interventions for children, adolescents, and families, with a focus on developmental processes and challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological evaluations, designing individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and monitoring progress over time. The role also involves close collaboration with other mental health professionals, educators, and caregivers, as well as participation in clinical supervision, case conferences, and documentation in accordance with professional standards. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel, requiring regular in-person sessions and active involvement in the institute’s clinical and training activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Developmental Psychology and general Psychology, including assessment and intervention across age groups.
- Experience or training in Applied Behavior Analysis, particularly in working with behavioral challenges in children and adolescents.
- Competence in Clinical Supervision, including mentoring junior clinicians or trainees and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.
- Knowledge and practical experience in supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities, including multidisciplinary coordination with families and educators.
- Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MA, PhD, PsyD) in Psychology or a closely related field, with eligibility for professional licensure/registration in Israel.
- Demonstrated skills in diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with diverse populations.
- Prior experience in clinical or educational settings focusing on child and family therapy is highly beneficial.
