Budget Manager

Budget Control Department Manager | Southern Israel

A leading company is looking for an experienced Budget Control Department Manager to lead a team of 5–8 employees and oversee budget planning, control and analysis across the company’s projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Budget Control Department

• Build and monitor project budgets from land acquisition through construction and delivery

• Analyze budget vs. actuals and forecasts, identify variances, risks and trends

• Prepare management reports, forecasts and financial insights for senior management

• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Operations, Execution and Project Managers

• Improve budget control processes, reporting and supporting systems

• Monitor project commitments, contractors, materials and schedules

• Lead cross-organizational processes and drive corrective actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or Industrial Engineering & Management

• Significant experience in budget control, planning and analysis

• Proven experience managing a team and leading cross-organizational processes

• Experience in construction and/or real estate – a significant advantage

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP

• Experience with Ziv – an advantage

• Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead, prioritize and work effectively under pressure
