Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) will work closely with business stakeholders in Bnei Brak to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that support Geffen Global’s real estate operations and decision-making processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and tools, integrating data sources, and building applications that streamline property analysis, renovation tracking, and portfolio management. The FDE will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver robust, maintainable code. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Bnei Brak, requiring direct interaction with local teams and involvement in ongoing projects.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining production-grade services.
• Hands-on Programming skills in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript) and familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with databases, APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git) and knowledge of software testing and debugging practices.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., degree or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field) is an advantage.
• Interest in real estate, analytics, or investment-focused technologies is a plus.
