Junior Software Engineer

We’re looking for software developers who are interested in making the transition into Malware Research and joining a cybersecurity team focused on analyzing and investigating malicious applications.

In this role, you’ll receive hands-on training in malware analysis and detection, investigate a wide range of malware threats and techniques, and apply your development skills to understand how malicious applications work and identify potential threats.

This is an opportunity for developers who want to leverage their technical background in a new direction within cybersecurity. You’ll combine technical analysis and intelligence findings to reach accurate verdicts and contribute to the detection and removal of malicious applications at scale.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical, eager to learn, and excited to transition from software development into cybersecurity research. The ability to work under pressure, think creatively, and proactively identify emerging malware trends is key.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or software development

Hands-on cybersecurity experience in areas such as malware analysis, reverse engineering, SOC investigations, mobile/APK analysis, or penetration testing

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

Ability to trace execution flow through code analysis

Solid understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and programming fundamentals

Nice to Have:

B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field

Experience with Java, javaScript, Assembly, C/C++ or additional programming languages

Experience with IDA Pro or Ghidra

Experience with JADX or JEB

Familiarity with Frida or Xposed

Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Wireshark, Fiddler or HTTP Toolkit

Knowledge of common malware threats and techniques
