Job Description

Tower Semiconductor is seeking a highly motivated Senior Process Engineer to lead process development, technology transfer, and tool/process optimization in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing fab located in Migdal HaEmek, Israel.

Tower Fab2 is a fast-growing manufacturing facility specializing in high-performance semiconductor devices for diverse applications. With a focus on quality, cost efficiency, and optimized cycle times, the fab offers an exciting environment for innovation and leadership.

In this role, you will:

• Sustain, improve, and develop processes within a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Partner with Operations, Equipment Engineering, Integration, and R&D teams to ensure products meet quality and customer requirements.
• Support technology transfers, new tool/process qualification, and process implementation.
• Create and/or modify operation specifications.
• Collaborate with global counterparts to drive process and procedure improvements.

We are looking for a candidate with strong hands-on process and equipment experience, excellent experimental and analytical skills, and a solid foundation in semiconductor materials, processes, and metrology.

This Job Is For You If:

• You have experience sustaining and improving processes in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• You are experienced in process monitoring and control, troubleshooting yield and quality issues, and implementing process improvements.

• You have experience with new tool installation, qualification, and process technologies.

• You have in-depth experience supporting process and technology transfers and cross-functional troubleshooting.

• You have experience working with Integration and Quality teams to ensure technology qualification and reliability requirements are met.

• You have experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma processes – preferred.

Job Requirements

**Must Have:**

• B.S. Degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering
• 5 years of experience working as a Process Engineer.
• Ability to execute definable portions of a project or lead own small projects
• Ability to use knowledge to provide solutions to a variety of difficult problems
• Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a global team or environment

**Nice to Have:**

• M.Sc. degree Materials or Chemical Engineering
• Experience in Etch processes – a significant advantage.
