Way Security is the IAM enforcement platform. Enterprises own the right identity tools, IdP, IGA, PAM, but those tools only govern what they can technically reach, leaving powerful platforms enforced on a fraction of the environment. Way takes the identity stack enterprises already run and enforces it on every app and identity, including the ones those tools can't reach today.

About The Role

This is a highly hands-on, zero-to-one product role.

You’ll work closely with the VP Product, founders, engineering, design, and customers to turn complex identity and security challenges into products that are simple, scalable, and valuable to large enterprises.

You’ll operate in a technically complex space, where customer environments vary significantly, and product decisions often require balancing security requirements, enterprise workflows, integrations, and usability.

You’ll have meaningful ownership over what we build, why we build it, and how we bring new product capabilities from early ideas to production.

What You’ll Do

• Own Product Areas End-to-End: Define product priorities, requirements, and roadmap across key parts of the Way platform.
• Build Zero-to-One: Take new product capabilities from customer problems and early concepts through validation, development, launch, and iteration.
• Understand Identity Problems Deeply: Work with customers and internal experts to understand IAM workflows, identity infrastructure, access challenges, and integration requirements.
• Work Closely with Customers: Engage directly with enterprise customers and design partners to uncover needs, validate solutions, and translate feedback into product decisions.
• Drive Execution: Partner closely with engineering and design to move quickly while maintaining a high bar for product quality.
• Simplify Complexity: Turn highly technical identity and security concepts into intuitive workflows and product experiences.
• Work AI-Natively: Use modern AI tools, agents, and workflows as a core part of how you research, prototype, analyze, and build. We expect you to be highly comfortable with emerging AI capabilities and to continuously explore how they can improve both the product and the way we work.
• Prototype and Experiment: Use prototypes, AI tools, lightweight technical experiments, and rapid iteration to validate ideas before investing heavily in development.
• Shape the Product Organization: Help establish the processes, tools, and product practices that will support Way as the company scales.
  
  

• 5+ years of product management experience, with experience owning technical B2B products.
• Hands-on product experience in Identity / IAM, with a strong understanding of identity technologies, concepts, and workflows such as SSO, authentication, authorization, MFA, identity lifecycle management, access governance, IdPs, and IGA.
• Familiarity with areas such as SSO, authentication, authorization, MFA, identity lifecycle management, access governance, IdPs, or IGA.
• Experience working on enterprise security, infrastructure, developer, or similarly technical products.
• Proven experience taking products or major capabilities from 0→1.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams on technically complex products and integrations.
• Strong customer-facing skills, including the ability to work directly with enterprise customers and translate complex needs into scalable product solutions.
• Strong product judgment and ability to prioritize in environments with incomplete information and competing requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• High ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to move quickly in an early-stage startup environment.
