Director, Organizational Development & Learning

A global pharmaceutical company with approximately 500 employees is seeking an experienced Director of Organizational Development & Learning to lead the company’s organizational development, learning, leadership development, and training strategy.

This is a strategic leadership role with broad organizational impact. The Director will partner closely with the executive leadership team and managers, driving cross-functional initiatives across leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, learning, and capability building.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the company-wide Organizational Development, Learning & Leadership Development strategy, aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
• Lead cross-organizational OD initiatives in alignment with strategic business goals and organizational priorities.
• Develop and manage the annual OD and Learning work plan, including priorities, programs, timelines, and resources.
• Lead organizational development, change management, team effectiveness, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives.
• Design and lead leadership, management, and talent development programs.
• Develop and implement OD frameworks, processes, and tools, including performance management, management philosophy, organizational excellence, and process improvement.
• Own the company’s learning, training, certification, and professional development activities.
• Identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning journeys and development programs for key populations and roles.
• Build and lead learning and training activities across subsidiaries and in collaboration with global stakeholders.
• Ensure training and certification policies and processes comply with applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Oversee the LMS, external vendors, budget, and digital learning programs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and managers on organizational and people-related matters.
• Provide professional and direct leadership to the Training & Learning team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Organizational Consulting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Organizational Consulting, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field — an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in Organizational Development, Learning, Leadership Development, and Training.
• Proven experience in a global or multinational organization, including leading cross-organizational initiatives.
• 4+ years of experience designing and leading leadership and management development programs.
• Proven experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives.
• Experience developing annual work plans and managing budgets and external vendors.
• Hands-on experience with LMS platforms.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, or another regulated environment — an advantage.
• Fluent Hebrew and English.

Reporting Line

The position reports directly to the VP Human Resources and is part of the HR management team.
