Senior Generative AI Engineer | Leading Organization | Central Israel

A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for a Senior Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced Generative AI solutions in Production, with a strong focus on AI Agents, RAG systems, and LLM-powered applications.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining deep Generative AI expertise with strong Software Engineering foundations, including solution architecture, optimization, technical evaluation, and professional guidance across the team.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy Production-grade Generative AI solutions
• Build advanced Agentic AI / AI Agent applications
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Work with leading Foundation Models and LLMs
• Optimize, evaluate, and fine-tune Generative AI agents and applications
• Define technical performance metrics and evaluate GenAI use cases
• Apply Prompt Engineering and Content Filtering techniques in Production environments
• Establish GenAI best practices and provide technical guidance to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Evaluate and adopt emerging Generative AI technologies, models, and development practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience developing enterprise-grade applications – required
• 2+ years of hands-on Generative AI experience – required
• Strong hands-on experience developing AI Agent applications – required
• Experience designing and implementing RAG systems
• Experience working with Claude Code
• Hands-on experience with leading models such as Claude, GPT, and Gemini
• Strong understanding of Foundation Models, Prompt Engineering, and Production-grade Content Filtering
• Strong Python proficiency – required
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar Machine Learning frameworks
• Experience with data preprocessing, Feature Engineering, and model evaluation techniques
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership within a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
