Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing product company and work on scalable backend systems powering real-time customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin.
• Take ownership of backend features from planning and implementation through deployment and monitoring.
• Build reliable, efficient, and maintainable backend solutions.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases in a production environment.
• Work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with the development team to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution and improvement of backend architecture and engineering practices.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on production experience developing backend systems with Kotlin.
• Strong backend development experience with Kotlin, Java, Scala, or Go.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
• Hands-on experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
