Role Description The Fashion Designer will work on-site in Tel Aviv-Yafo in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of Shani Shemer Swimwear collections. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating original swimwear designs, selecting textiles and trims, and preparing sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications. The role involves participating in fittings, refining garment construction and fit, and collaborating with pattern makers and production teams to ensure design integrity. The Fashion Designer will research trends, colors, and silhouettes, incorporate brand identity into new styles, and support the design process from concept through final samples. This position also requires regular communication with cross-functional partners to meet timelines and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Fashion Design and Fashion, with the ability to develop cohesive, brand-aligned collections.
• Hands-on experience with Textiles, including fabric selection, properties, and suitability for swimwear.
• Proficiency in Fitting, with attention to silhouette, comfort, and performance in swimwear garments.
• Embroidery and embellishment skills for adding detail and differentiation to designs.
• Ability to create clear sketches and technical drawings (manual or digital), using tools such as Adobe Illustrator or similar software.
• Experience working with pattern makers and production teams to translate designs into accurate samples and final products.
• Strong trend research skills and awareness of global fashion and swimwear markets.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities in a fast-paced design environment.
• Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in swimwear or intimate apparel design is an advantage.
