Structural Analysis Engineer | Defense Organization | Shfela Area

A leading defense organization in the Shfela area is looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join the development of complex multidisciplinary products and systems, from structural concept definition through analysis, testing, qualification, and production.

The role combines engineering calculations, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and structural evaluation as an integral part of the product design and development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the structural design and development of complex products and systems
• Develop structural concepts and evaluate their ability to withstand mechanical loads
• Build simulation models and perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Perform detailed strength and structural calculations
• Prepare structural analysis and qualification reports
• Plan and support structural qualification tests
• Evaluate structural behavior under various mechanical and environmental loads
• Collaborate with Design, Development, Testing, and Manufacturing teams
• Provide engineering support throughout the production process

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering – required
• High-level English proficiency, including speaking, reading, and writing – required
• Experience performing structural or strength analysis and FEA – an advantage
• Knowledge of Structural Statics, Solid Mechanics, Elasticity, and Vibration Theory – an advantage
• Experience with NASTRAN / PATRAN – an advantage
• Experience with dynamic analysis, including shock, vibration, and frequency response – an advantage
• Experience with Fatigue Analysis – an advantage
• Experience analyzing Composite Materials – an advantage
• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Structures or Strength – an advantage
• Familiarity with military standards and technical specifications – an advantage
