Vareum Scientific is an Israeli life science distribution company supplying research laboratories, biotech companies, hospitals, and academic institutions with a broad portfolio of reagents, consumables, and laboratory equipment from close to 50 international manufacturers. We work directly with our suppliers and offer competitive pricing across molecular biology, immunoassays, cell culture, nucleic acid purification, histopathology, lab plasticware, and instrumentation.

We are approved vendors in virtually every major research institution in Israel, with an established commercial infrastructure and a growing product portfolio. We are now expanding our field sales team and looking for motivated, scientifically literate agents who want to build something meaningful.

The role

This is a field-based, execution-focused position. The groundwork is already done — supplier relationships, pricing, logistics, and regulatory approvals are all in place. Your job is to get in front of the right people, understand what they need, and match them to what we can supply.

You will meet with researchers, procurement managers, and lab directors across academic, clinical, and industrial settings, identify product needs, and work closely with our team to move opportunities forward.

What you will be doing

• Visiting customers and prospects in research institutions, hospitals, and biotech companies across your territory
• Understanding customer workflows and identifying product fits across our portfolio
• Presenting products and generating interest — with full back-office support for quotes and pricing
• Logging activity and leads through our CRM
• Feeding market intelligence and product gaps back to the company

What we are looking for

• A background in life sciences — a degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field
• At least one year of sales experience in a scientific or technical field, or significant laboratory experience combined with a strong commercial drive
• Genuine familiarity with laboratory workflows and purchasing dynamics in the Israeli research market
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with scientists and procurement professionals
• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within your territory
