This is not a traditional PR job.

At Newsbound, the goal is to move communications people away from the manual mechanics of PR and closer to the work that actually requires them: strategy, judgment, creativity, storytelling and relationships. We are building PR for the AI era.

Newsbound is an AI PR platform that does more than help communications teams plan the work. It does the work for them. Newsbound continuously scans the news, understands a company and its industry, finds the stories worth telling, identifies the right journalists, podcasts and creators, and manages outreach.

That means you spend less time building lists and chasing follow ups, and more time deciding what matters, shaping strong stories and figuring out where a company should show up in the conversation.

We are still early, moving quickly and building alongside ambitious technology companies. You will have real ownership, work closely with the product team and help shape how Newsbound operates as we grow.

What you'll do

• Own day to day communications across a portfolio of technology companies, and manage client relationships, priorities and expectations
• Use Newsbound to identify media opportunities, story angles and relevant journalists, while using your communications expertise to give the product team practical feedback on the platform, workflows and output.
• Turn company news, market shifts and industry conversations into strong communications opportunities
• Build relationships with journalists and work with them directly across media opportunities.
• Use results and media response to understand what is working and where to push next.
• Help shape the processes and workflows that define how Newsbound operates.

What you bring

• At least two years of experience in PR and communications, ideally with technology companies.
• Native level written and spoken English
• Strong editorial judgment and an instinct for what makes something newsworthy
• Real client management experience
• The ability to quickly assess AI generated work and know what is strong, weak or needs changing
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Comfort working independently and making decisions without waiting for instructions
• Curiosity about AI and how it can fundamentally change the way communications work gets done
• A collaborative mindset and interest in helping build the product and company

The people joining Newsbound now are joining early enough to help define what the company becomes. As we grow, there will be opportunities to take on bigger responsibilities and eventually lead teams.
