Data Center Operations & Infrastructure Specialist

📍 Field-based role | Company car provided

Primary locations: Tirat Carmel & Herzliya, with occasional travel to additional sites.

Availability outside regular working hours may be required when needed.

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Operations professional to take broad, hands-on responsibility for the operation and maintenance of critical Data Center and IT infrastructure.

This is a highly independent role for someone who knows how to take full ownership, lead operational tasks end-to-end, troubleshoot issues, and independently manage day-to-day Data Center activities.

This is not a NOC role – it is a hands-on, field-based Data Center infrastructure position.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and maintain Data Center and communication rooms
• Manage UPS, generators, cooling, and critical power systems
• Install and maintain servers and network equipment
• Perform rack & stack, structured cabling, and hardware replacement
• Coordinate vendors and subcontractors
• Manage equipment, inventory, and documentation
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and lead tasks independently

Must-have Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Data Center operations experience
• Hands-on experience with server installation, rack & stack, structured cabling, and network equipment
• Practical knowledge of Data Center electrical infrastructure, UPS, generators, and power systems
• Experience in production or mission-critical Data Center environments
• Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and outside standard hours when needed
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with DCIM / NMS monitoring systems
• Familiarity with Storage, Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR)
• Knowledge of Data Center information security practices
• Experience in a large enterprise or complex mission-critical environment
