Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Yavne. The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems and assemblies for the ARCOPTER VTOL, focusing on performance, safety, and reliability. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing machine designs, creating and updating CAD models and drawings, performing engineering calculations and simulations, and supporting prototype build and testing activities. The role also involves collaborating with R&D, electrical, and aeronautical teams, participating in design reviews, documenting engineering work, and contributing to continuous product and process improvements. The Mechanical Engineer will help manage technical tasks within projects, coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing, and ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and experience developing mechanical components and assemblies.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
• Background in Research and Development (R&D), including prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement.
• Project Management skills to plan tasks, track progress, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience in aerospace, robotics, or complex electromechanical systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Yavne, communicate clearly in English, and contribute to a diverse, inclusive team environment.
