Embedded Linux Engineer

A leading defense company in the Yehud area is looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Development Engineer to join its technology team.

Responsibilities

• Embedded Linux development for complex systems
• Writing and maintaining Boot, BSP and Low-Level Hardware Drivers
• Working closely with hardware components, communication interfaces and protocols
• Defining software architecture and translating system requirements into technical specifications
• Hardware–software integration, testing and troubleshooting of Embedded systems
• Working with cross-functional engineering teams and providing technical solutions to complex challenges

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific degree
• Strong proficiency in C/C++
• 7+ years of experience with Embedded Linux - experience at the Kernel level is highly preferred
• Proven experience writing Boot, BSP and Low-Level Hardware Drivers
• Experience working directly with hardware components, communication interfaces and protocols
• Experience in hardware-software integration and testing of Embedded systems
• Strong system-level understanding, including the ability to define software architecture and write technical specifications
• Ability to work independently in a complex, multidisciplinary environment
