Quality Specialist

Role Description The Quality Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Asher Metal Industries in Bnei Brak. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining product and process quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, including inspection of CNC and Swiss-type machined components and verification against technical drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include performing in-process and final quality checks, documenting nonconformities, supporting root-cause analysis, and assisting with corrective and preventive actions. The Quality Specialist will collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to implement quality standards, update procedures, and support internal and external quality audits. The role also involves preparing quality reports, maintaining records, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measurement tools and data to assess product conformity.
• Hands-on experience in quality control activities such as visual and dimensional inspections, in-process checks, and final product verification.
• Background in quality assurance, including implementing procedures, standards, and documentation to maintain consistent production quality is preferred
• Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, reporting quality findings, and supporting training on quality practices.
• Familiarity with CNC machining or precision manufacturing environments; experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO or similar quality management systems and basic understanding of statistical process control is beneficial.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, quality engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
