AI Security Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Security Architect to lead the secure design, governance, and implementation of enterprise AI and Agentic AI solutions. This role combines deep expertise in cybersecurity, cloud architecture, and Generative AI to ensure that AI-powered systems are designed, deployed, and operated securely at scale.

You will work closely with security teams, architects, AI engineers, cloud specialists, and business stakeholders to establish security standards, perform architecture reviews, assess risks, and guide the secure adoption of AI technologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure architectures for AI, Generative AI, and Agent-based solutions.
• Lead security reviews and threat modeling activities for AI projects and platforms.
• Define security controls for LLMs, AI Agents, RAG pipelines, Vector Databases, and external tool integrations.
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific threats, including:
• Prompt Injection
• Jailbreak Attacks
• Data Poisoning
• Model Manipulation
• Sensitive Data Exposure
• Supply Chain Risks
• Indirect Prompt Injection
• Develop AI security standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure secure AI implementation across the development lifecycle.
• Lead risk assessments and architecture reviews for enterprise AI initiatives.
• Define controls around agent orchestration, tool calling, memory management, and Human-in-the-Loop workflows.
• Drive compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on emerging AI security technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Proven delivery of at least two production-grade AI, GenAI, or Agentic AI solutions with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong experience in Security Architecture, Cloud Security, or Cybersecurity Architecture roles.
• Hands-on experience securing AI/LLM-based solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into secure AI solution architectures.
• Deep understanding of AI security risks, controls, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent AI platforms.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Agentic AI architectures
• Tool/Function Calling
• Multi-Agent Orchestration
• Memory and State Management
• MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• RAG architectures
• Experience with Azure security services, identity management, and access control.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and cloud-native security.
