Software Engineer

A high-growth Infrastructure DeepTech startup developing a next-generation, high-performance database engine engineered for complex distributed environments.

The company was founded by three serial entrepreneurs with a proven track record of multiple successful exits, presenting a rare opportunity to join an elite team building foundational, low-level data infrastructure from the ground up.

The engineering culture centers on solving deep computer science problems, distributed systems architectures, and polyglot systems programming alongside tier-1 industry veterans.

The office is located adjacent to a central train station, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Backend / Core Systems Software Engineer, joining the foundational backend engineering squad to design and implement mission-critical modules for a revolutionary database engine.
• Building complex, high-throughput, and low-latency distributed components across a modern polyglot technology stack.
• Tackling deep systems-level engineering challenges spanning concurrency, storage internals, query engines, and distributed consensus.
• Continuously learning, adapting, and integrating cutting-edge tools, languages, and low-level architectural paradigms.
• Taking end-to-end personal ownership of feature development, from algorithmic design and code delivery through to rigorous benchmarking and production stabilization.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technological degree from a leading academic institution – Mandatory
• Outstanding analytical capabilities, strong algorithmic foundations, and a rapid, autonomous learning curve – Mandatory
• Passion for low-level systems programming, distributed systems, and core database internals – Mandatory
• Strong personal accountability, high agency, self-drive, and disciplined execution capabilities – Mandatory
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English – Mandatory
• Practical hands-on development experience in backend or systems-level languages (e.g., C++, Rust, Go, Java) – Advantage
