Position Overview

• Vice President of Engineering / Director of R&D taking complete executive ownership over the global engineering organization, scaling software architecture, and expanding engineering squads from the ground up (0 to 1).
• Defining and executing the technical vision, setting aggressive delivery milestones, and managing cross-functional, multi-timezone engineering teams under fast-paced startup timelines.
• Spearheading the architecture of low-latency, mission-critical real-time video pipelines, edge computing layers, and cloud-hybrid infrastructure topologies.
• Actively leading high-level code reviews, enforcing rigorous software engineering methodologies, and cultivating an elite technical culture within an interdisciplinary environment.
• Core Ecosystem Agentic AI, Autonomous Agents, Computer Vision, Real-Time Video Streaming, Edge Computing, Hybrid Cloud Architectures, Low-Latency Protocols, and High-Availability Systems.

Requirements-

• 10 years of proven, hands-on professional experience building, scaling, and architecting complex software platforms and engineering organizations from the ground up (0-to-1) – Mandatory
• Demonstrated track record leading and scaling engineering organizations of 15 to 50 developers under high-pressure, venture-backed startup environments or leading global tech giants – Mandatory
• Extensive, battle-tested expertise deploying real-time, high-availability, or mission-critical production systems governed by strict, low-latency SLAs – Mandatory
• Deep, fundamental technical comprehension of Video Streaming pipelines, Edge Computing hardware topologies, and hybrid cloud deployments – Mandatory
• Prior professional experience managing distributed, global engineering teams operating across multiple time zones – Mandatory
• Exceptional leadership presence—characterized by strong decisiveness, a clear technological vision, and a strict commitment to engineering deadlines—paired with superb communication skills – Mandatory
