Chip Design Engineer

Role Description-

• Serving as a Chip Design / SoC Architecture Engineer, taking an active role in defining advanced silicon architectures and custom SoC solutions.
• Translating customer needs and commercial product requirements into detailed technical specifications and comprehensive Functional Specifications.
• Guiding complete chip lifecycles, collaborating closely with Logic Design (RTL), Verification, and Physical Design teams.
• Supporting Post-Silicon Bring-up, silicon validation, and hardware debug phases in the laboratory.
• Partnering with cross-functional engineering teams and external tier-1 customers to ensure optimal silicon performance, power, and area (PPA).

Requirements-

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent academic degree – Mandatory
• 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in VLSI or ASIC / SoC Chip Design – Mandatory
• Solid technical proficiency in architectural definition, micro-architecture, and writing functional specifications – Mandatory
• Hands-on familiarity with the complete silicon lifecycle from RTL design through to GDSII – Significant Advantage
• Practical experience with Post-Silicon Bring-up, laboratory debugging, and validation – Advantage
• Strong technical communication, analytical problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration capabilities – Mandatory
