Investment Manager - Private Equity

We are looking for an exceptional Investment Manager to join a leading private investment group and take a key role in one of its major U.S.-focused investment funds.

This is a highly analytical and investor-facing role for someone who already knows the world of Private Equity and private investment funds, and combines strong investment capabilities with a deep accounting and financial foundation.

The Investment Manager will develop an in-depth understanding of the fund, its underlying investments and performance, and serve as a key professional resource for both the investment team and the fund’s investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the fund, its portfolio, investment strategy and underlying assets

• Analyze and monitor fund performance, returns and key financial metrics

• Review financial statements, investment reports and financial information, connecting the numbers to the underlying business and operational performance

• Provide in-depth analysis and professional responses to complex questions regarding the fund and its investments

• Work directly with investors, becoming a trusted professional point of contact on financial and investment-related matters

• Manage ongoing investor communication and support investor onboarding

• Take an active role in a significant fundraising process, including investor meetings, due diligence and follow-ups

• Work closely with senior investment professionals, finance teams and partners in Israel and the U.S.

• Over time, expand into broader fundraising and investment responsibilities across additional platforms

The ideal background

We are particularly interested in candidates who began their careers with a strong accounting and financial foundation, gained experience in an Economic Department, Valuation, Transaction Services or Financial Advisory, and have since moved into Private Equity or private-market investments.

Requirements

• Experience in Private Equity / Private Markets / investment funds – highly preferred

• CPA qualification – strong advantage

• Previous experience in an Economic Department, Valuation, Transaction Services or Financial Advisory – strong advantage

• Deep understanding of financial statements, investment performance and returns

• Strong analytical and numerical capabilities

• Ability to dive deeply into financial information while maintaining a top-down investment and business perspective

• Familiarity with fund structures and private-market investments

• Excellent English – written and spoken

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• High level of professionalism, intellectual curiosity, ownership and attention to detail
