A Day in the Life

Your role as Assembler in Medtronic Yokneam Operations in Manufacturing is to perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. Medtronic Yokneam site is a legacy Given Imaging site. Given Imaging was established in 1998. The site is a global leader in providing innovative devices for the detection of pathologies and as tools in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders. Site Products which are manufactured in Yokneam end to end – PillCam endoscopy system, PillCam patency system, Bravo pH monitoring system and others.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
• Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written assembly instructions.
• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
  
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Prior knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operational procedures, systems and tools.
• Job skills and knowledge of policies, procedures and systems are acquired and applied to clearly defined work instruction.
