Senior C# Backend Developer

A leading defense company is looking for an experienced Senior C#/.NET Core Backend Developer to join a strategic, long-term SaaS project in the space domain.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of core backend services using C# and .NET Core.

Take ownership of complex backend components in a large-scale SaaS platform.

Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable microservices in a distributed system environment.

Work with Docker and Kubernetes as part of a modern cloud-native architecture.

Drive technical decisions around system design, performance, scalability, and reliability.

Develop REST APIs and backend infrastructure for complex, long-term systems.

Collaborate closely with software, system engineering, DevOps, integration, and product teams.

Lead design discussions, code reviews, technical investigations, debugging, and integration processes.

Mentor developers, promote engineering best practices, and help raise the technical level of the team.

Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent military experience from technological units (e.g., 8200, Mamram, Ofek).

5+ years of hands-on software development experience C#/.NET

Hands-on experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.

Experience designing and developing microservices-based systems.

Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes.

Experience with Docker and modern deployment environments.

Strong understanding of software architecture, OOP, design patterns, clean code, and SOLID principles.

Experience leading technical tasks, mentoring developers, or influencing system architecture.

Ability to work on complex, mission-critical systems in a multidisciplinary environment.

Advantages:

Experience with C++ development on Windows.

Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.

Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or event-driven architecture.
