Legal Associate

As we continue to expand our team specializing in managed legal services, we are looking for a Legal Associate for our office in Israël, based in Jérusalem.

MISSIONS :

• Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct legal and regulatory research on record retention, data compliance and cross-border data transfers, with a particular focus on French-speaking jurisdictions and, where required, other international jurisdictions with the support of local law firms.
• Database Management: Translate research findings into clear, accurate and structured database entries, ensuring content complies with established methodologies, processes and data standards.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and proactively update the database to ensure information remains accurate, current and comprehensive.
• User Support: Perform the initial triage of users’ questions regarding legal and regulatory requirements and provide clear, accurate responses based on the available research and database content.
• Collaboration & Quality: Work closely with internal teams and external legal counsel to validate information, address complex research matters and maintain the overall quality and reliability of the database.

PROFILE:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in law from a university of good standing;
• Have between 0 and 5 years of professional experience;
• Have previous experience in legal research, or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area;
• Have a strong ability to understand, analyse and interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements, including across foreign jurisdictions;
• Be a native French speaker and proficient in English, knowledge of other languages would be an asset;
• Have excellent attention to detail and a meticulous, organized approach to their work;
• Be able and ready to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing workloads, priorities and business requirements;
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be a good team player with a positive, can-do attitude;
• Have experience, exposure and/or a strong interest in working with international teams;
• Have good computer skills, including a good command of MS Word, MS Excel and other commonly used business applications;
• Be familiar with legal research databases such as Westlaw or similar tools.
