Data Center Technician & NOC Operator – Defense Company, Jerusalem Non-Shift Position

A defense company in Jerusalem is looking for a Data Center Technician & NOC Operator to join its infrastructure operations team.

Responsibilities include:

Ongoing server maintenance

Handling server-related issues and malfunctions

Continuous monitoring and control

Operating the company’s central Data Center facility in Jerusalem

NOC operations and real-time event handling

Working in high-pressure and emergency situations

Requirements:

Experience working with monitoring and control systems – mandatory

Ability to monitor systems and respond effectively under pressure and during emergencies – mandatory

At least 3 years of experience in a large organization – mandatory

Willingness to travel occasionally to the company’s headquarters in northern Israel

Infrastructure certifications or knowledge of network administration – significant advantage

Experience installing and maintaining server hardware and infrastructure from vendors such as HP, Dell, and others – significant advantage

Previous experience working in NOC environments – advantage

Experience with procurement or installation of passive infrastructure such as fiber optics, cables, racks, and PDUs – advantage

Experience working with subcontractors – advantage

Familiarity with Linux operating systems – advantage
