A leading global technology organization is looking for an experienced Senior Linux System Administrator to join a highly skilled infrastructure team supporting large-scale production environments.

This is a hands-on infrastructure role focused on Linux administration, automation, virtualization, and enterprise data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux production environments at scale
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Bash and Python
• Manage and optimize configuration management platforms such as Ansible and Puppet
• Support Kubernetes and container-based infrastructure
• Implement and maintain CI/CD tools and automation workflows
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across operating systems, networks, virtualization, and applications
• Manage core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and Active Directory integrations
• Support virtualized environments using VMware and KVM
• Work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve reliability and scalability

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on Linux administration experience in production environments
• Strong experience with Linux distributions such as RHEL, Rocky Linux, CentOS, or Ubuntu
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar configuration management tools
• Experience supporting Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching)
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM
• Proven troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise environments

This position is intended for experienced Linux Infrastructure/System professionals. Candidates whose primary background is QA, Software Testing, or Test Automation are less relevant for this role.
