RF Engineer

Operating with dozens of professionals, the team combines demanding multidisciplinary engineering challenges with long-term financial stability.

The office is located in Central Israel, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home.

Role Description

• Serving as RF Team Lead / Principal RF Engineer, leading the RF domain and driving the end-to-end development of wireless communication modules for global IoT and Smart Metering products.
• Mentoring and guiding a small, specialized RF engineering team while maintaining hands-on ownership of architectural definitions, simulations, and circuit designs.
• Taking full lifecycle responsibility from initial RF concept, simulation, and schematic/layout review through integration, lab validation, certification, and transfer to mass production.
• Leading wireless communication architectures across Sub-GHz proprietary protocols and Cellular IoT standards (NB-IoT / LTE Cat-M).
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Hardware, Firmware, and Systems engineering teams, as well as external component vendors, testing facilities, and certification labs.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from an accredited university – Mandatory
• 10+ years of hands-on experience as an RF Engineer / RF Designer – Mandatory
• Proven track record leading the complete development lifecycle: RF architecture, simulation, schematic/layout, lab bring-up, qualification, and regulatory compliance (EMC/RF standards) – Mandatory
• Deep expertise in Sub-GHz wireless technologies and/or Cellular IoT standards (NB-IoT, Cat-M) – Mandatory
• Hands-on laboratory proficiency with RF test instrumentation (Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Signal Generators, Power Meters) – Mandatory
• Prior engineering background from Defense corporations (e.g., Elbit, Rafael, IAI) or established IoT product companies – Significant Advantage
