Automation Engineer

The platform streamlines and automates complex customer workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance without replacing existing legacy systems.

Operating with over 100 employees worldwide and an agile engineering hub in Israel, the team actively integrates modern GenAI tools into its daily development flows.

Located in Tel Aviv with direct transit access, operating on a hybrid schedule with two days working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as the Dedicated QA Automation Engineer within an Agile Scrum squad, reporting directly to the Team Lead and taking end-to-end ownership of product quality and test strategy for the team's features.
• Designing, developing, and scaling robust automated test frameworks and test suites across UI, API, and Backend services.
• Driving automated testing initiatives utilizing modern web testing frameworks such as Selenium, alongside hands-on work with Playwright and Cypress.
• Incorporating advanced GenAI workflows and LLM tools (such as Claude) into daily development, scripting, and test case generation to accelerate test engineering cycles.
• Testing distributed cloud services across multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure), ensuring seamless integration, high system reliability, and enterprise-grade data security.
• Querying and validating complex data persistence layers using relational databases and SQL.
• Serving as the quality authority across the squad, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and devops to drive continuous quality and fast release cadences.

Requirements-

• 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in QA Automation (building frameworks and authoring automated tests) – Mandatory
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise with industry-standard automated testing frameworks (specifically Selenium; familiarity with Playwright or Cypress – an asset) – Mandatory
• Proven background testing across the full stack: Web UI, RESTful APIs, and Backend logic – Mandatory
• Solid practical proficiency with relational databases and authoring SQL queries – Mandatory
• Deep understanding of software engineering lifecycles, Agile/Scrum processes, and modern QA methodologies – Mandatory
• Proven track record of taking independent ownership of quality processes and driving initiatives with minimal supervision – Mandatory
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional engineering teams – Mandatory
• Familiarity with testing in Cloud environments (AWS / Azure) – Advantage
• Hands-on experience or genuine enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, LLMs) to enhance QA automation – Advantage
