Backend Engineer Team Lead

Role Description-

• Serving as a Software Development Team Lead (AI Security & Autonomous Agents), leading, mentoring, and growing an organic squad of ~6 software engineers responsible for a core, high-growth component within the AI Security platform.
• Driving technical leadership, architecture, and execution for systems securing autonomous AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code) and autonomous developer workflows.
• Architecting high-throughput, low-latency Backend Services, APIs, and Real-Time Policy Enforcement Engines handling high-scale enterprise traffic.
• Overseeing a modern, distributed technology stack across Python, Golang, Node.js, React, AWS, and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Partnering cross-functionally with Product Managers, AI/ML Researchers, Security Architects, and GTM teams to deliver scalable enterprise-grade security solutions.
• Championing agile engineering best practices, CI/CD automation, high code quality standards, and rapid continuous delivery.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical degree / Alumni of an Elite Technological Unit – Mandatory
• 2 years of proven managerial experience as a Software Development Team Lead – Mandatory
• Proven background and track record working in Product-Driven High-Tech Companies / Scale-ups – Mandatory
• Strong, hands-on backend development background in at least one of the following: Node.js, Python, or Golang – Mandatory
• Substantial hands-on experience building, scaling, and architecting systems in Public Cloud environments (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure) and Kubernetes – Mandatory
• Deep technical leadership capabilities, system architecture vision, and people-management skills – Mandatory
• Full-stack capabilities or familiarity with modern Frontend frameworks (React) – Advantage
• Background in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, AppSec, Developer Tools, or AI/LLM Security – Significant Advantage
