Back End Engineer

The company has developed an enterprise security platform that prevents lateral movement and internal breach progression through automated, identity-based network micro-segmentation.

Operating at the intersection of deep Linux internals, advanced networking, and cloud topologies, the platform safeguards critical systems for large international enterprises.

Employing over 150 professionals, the team focuses on complex low-level systems engineering and high-scale infrastructure.

The office is located in Central Israel adjacent to the train station, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home

Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Backend & Systems Infrastructure Engineer, developing high-performance, mission-critical backend components across cloud and on-premise production environments.
• Engineering core platform services primarily using Go (Golang), with an openness to onboarding strong engineers with solid foundations in C++ or Python.
• Tackling deep low-level system challenges, including multithreading, concurrency, memory optimization, and Linux OS internals.
• Designing and optimizing packet-filtering engines and network control planes leveraging Netlink, nftables, iptables, and eBPF.
• Architecting resilient, high-throughput microservices capable of enforcing real-time security policies at extreme enterprise scale.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Security Researchers, Cloud Infrastructure, and Platform teams to deliver low-latency networking capabilities.

Requirements-

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience in Backend engineering – Mandatory
• Strong practical programming background in Go, C++, or Python (with a passion for deep backend and systems programming in Go) – Mandatory
• Deep, proven experience developing on Linux environments and working with Linux Internals (processes, threads, networking stacks, memory management) – Mandatory
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technological degree / IDF technological unit background – Mandatory
• Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, routing) and Linux networking mechanisms (eBPF, Netlink, iptables, nftables) – Significant Advantage
• Prior background in Cybersecurity, Zero Trust architectures, distributed systems, or high-scale networking infrastructure – Advantage
