About the Company

Responsible for defining, selecting and characterizing the critical components in the company's products - including lasers, thermal engines, day and night optics, displays, laser rangefinders (laser range systems) and other electro-optical components. The role combines engineering-technical responsibility with supplier management and testing processes.

About the Role

Main areas of responsibility:

• Engineering and technical leadership
• Defining technical requirements for critical electro-optical components in accordance with product and system requirements.
• Responsibility for selecting components, characterizing them and adapting them to performance, reliability and cost requirements.
• Accompanying the integration planning processes of the components in the subsystems and systems.
• Solving complex engineering problems in the fields of optics and electro-optics.
• Supplier management
• Testing and experimentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in electro-optical engineering, physics, electrical engineering or a relevant field.

Required Skills

• Proven experience of 5+ years in component development or electro-optical systems.
• Experience in managing an engineering team - a significant advantage.
• In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: lasers, day/night optics, displays, thermal engines.
• Experience working with international suppliers.
