Job Description

The Hebrew Transcriptionist will be responsible for transcribing Hebrew content with a high level of accuracy, ensuring consistency and quality across all materials produced.

On a daily basis, the role will involve listening to and analyzing audio or video content, reviewing subtitles, verifying specific terminology, and applying formatting rules established by the platform. The transcriptionist will also collaborate with other teams to clarify contextual questions, adjust deliverables according to client guidelines, and meet established deadlines.

This is a full-time, fully remote position involving continuous interaction through DatoviaPlayhouse’s digital tools and platforms.

Qualifications

Proven experience transcribing Hebrew audio or video content, with an excellent level of Hebrew comprehension, reading, and writing.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to follow specific style, formatting, and quality guidelines.

Good time-management skills and the ability to work with targets and deadlines while handling multiple tasks in a structured manner.

Comfortable using digital tools, remote-work platforms, and text-editing or subtitling software.

Nice-to-have: Previous experience in localization or proofreading, knowledge of additional languages, an academic background in languages, linguistics, communications, or related fields, and familiarity with global freelance work environments.
