Role Description The מעצב.ת מוצר למחלקת פיתוח – GARAGE will be responsible for designing and developing innovative product concepts for the garage and storage category, from initial idea through to production-ready solutions. In this full-time, on-site role based in North District, Israel, the product designer will collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to translate user needs and market trends into functional and aesthetically appealing products. Daily activities include creating sketches, 3D models, and prototypes, refining designs based on feedback and testing, and ensuring consistency with Keter’s brand, sustainability principles, and quality standards. The role also involves preparing design documentation, participating in design reviews, and supporting continuous improvement in product performance and user experience.
Qualifications

• Strong product design skills, including concept development, sketching, and 3D modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360 or similar).
• Experience designing consumer products for home, storage, or furniture categories, with attention to ergonomics, usability, and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, especially plastics and injection molding, and ability to design for production feasibility.
• Proficiency in design visualization tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent for presentations and documentation.
• Ability to conduct user-centered research, gather insights from customers and stakeholders, and translate findings into design requirements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional development teams (R&D, engineering, marketing, operations).
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant academic background in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field; previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; Hebrew language skills and familiarity with the Israeli manufacturing and design ecosystem are beneficial.
• Demonstrated interest in sustainability and designing durable, eco-conscious products for everyday use.
