Logistics Assistant

Steconfer is a global railway infrastructure specialist recognized for its high-technical expertise in track works, overhead line electrification (catenary systems), and rail-based signaling.

The Logistics Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our operations in Israel by ensuring seamless onboarding, housing coordination, and personal administrative support for expatriate employees. Based in Petah Tikva, this role requires a proactive, empathetic individual who can bridge linguistic and cultural gaps. The ideal candidate will manage property logistics and assist international staff with medical and residential needs.

Key Responsibilities

Expatriate Support

• Manage medical care: Schedule appointments and provide live translation (Hebrew/Spanish) on-site or by phone.
• Handle emergencies: Escort or transport employees to local emergency rooms when necessary.

Housing & Leases

• Coordinate relocations: Prepare furnished apartments for new arrivals and manage departure logistics.
• Administer contracts: Liaise with Finance and Management on rent contracts, renewals, and payments.
• Landlord contact: Act as the main point of contact for maintenance and lease issues.

Qualifications

• Languages: Mandatory fluency in Hebrew and Spanish. English proficiency is a major advantage.
• Experience: 1–2 years in logistics, relocation, HR support, or expatriate administration.
• Mobility: Valid Israeli driver’s license with a clean record for urgent transport.
• Skills: High empathy, strict confidentiality, and the ability to stay calm under emergency pressure.
