Java Backend Developer - Digital Channels

Location: Tel-Aviv

Hybrid Model: 2 days from home

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join its Digital Platform team, responsible for the development and maintenance of backend systems supporting the organization's digital channels, including web and mobile applications.

This is a hands-on development role, working as part of an Agile Squad and collaborating with development, infrastructure, information security, QA, architecture, business and external vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components using Java
• Design and develop Microservices using Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain REST APIs
• Support and maintain existing Java-based legacy backend systems
• Perform peer Code Reviews and ensure high-quality development standards
• Build and deploy software using automation and CI/CD tools
• Work as part of an Agile Squad
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, information security, QA and architecture teams

Must-Have Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Java development
• Extensive experience developing Microservices using Spring Boot
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Experience working on Digital, Web and Mobile projects
• Hands-on development experience in an Agile environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field
