Lab Technician and Equipment Specialist

Biolojic Design, Ltd. is a leading-edge company specializing in the design of multi-specific human antibodies, using AI and machine learning techniques, to cure patients.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Technician and to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform essential laboratory tasks, Routine maintenance, Support lab personnel with equipment troubleshooting and provide scientific support for our research processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory work, including buffers and substrates preparation, accurate weighing, pH calibration, filtration and aliquoting.
• Work under sterile conditions and operate biological and chemical safety hoods in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Routine maintenance of Tissue Culture lab, including performing Mycoplasma testing.
• Support daily laboratory operations, including sterilization of laboratory equipment and maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment.
• Inventory maintenance: Laboratory and warehouse supply checks.
• Comply with safety procedures, regulatory requirements, SOPs and documentation requirements.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a lab environment, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, Familiar with different laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
