Information Technology Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager — Systems, Network & Support to own, scale, and secure our global IT operations. In this role, you will lead our identity management, endpoint security, enterprise networking, and user support infrastructure from end to end.

What You’ll Do

Identity & Access Management

* Identity Architecture: Own and extend our SSO setup (Okta / Entra ID / Google Workspace / JumpCloud), including SAML and OIDC application integrations.

* Lifecycle Automation: Automate the entire user lifecycle via SCIM provisioning, role adjustments, and secure offboarding workflows.

* Governance & Security: Direct regular access reviews, manage group structures, enforce strict MFA policies, and maintain privileged account hygiene.

Endpoint Management

* Fleet Administration: Manage macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices using modern MDM platforms—enforcing configurations, OS patching, compliance baselines, and disk encryption.

* Zero-Touch Onboarding: Standardize and optimize zero-touch deployment to ensure new hires are fully equipped on day one.

Network & Infrastructure

* Core Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain switching, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.

* Enterprise Wi-Fi: Manage enterprise Wi-Fi environments (Ubiquiti / Meraki / Aruba / Fortinet), executing site surveys, RF tuning, and 802.1X/RADIUS authentication.

* NGFW & Optimization: Deploy Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) architectures and continuous network optimization to keep performance high and latency low.

* Proactive Monitoring: Monitor network capacity and solve complex connectivity issues beyond surface-level dashboards.

Security & Compliance

* Security Posture: Oversee endpoint protection, email security protocols, centralized logging, and proactive vulnerability remediation.

* Audits & Frameworks: Support ongoing compliance initiatives (SOC 2 / ISO 27001) and handle vendor/customer security questionnaires.

* Incident Response: Lead IT incident response efforts and author comprehensive runbooks to prevent recurring issues.

Support & IT Operations

* Helpdesk Ownership: Drive helpdesk SLA performance, escalation workflows, triage protocols, and clear documentation.

* Root Cause Analysis: Track ticket trends to identify underlying system issues and implement permanent fixes.

* Asset & Budget Management: Manage vendor relationships, software licenses, hardware inventories, and IT procurement budgets.

Leadership & Collaboration

* Mentorship: Guide junior team members and instill best practices for documentation and processes.

* Cross-Functional Communication: Bridge the gap between technical operations and executive stakeholders by translating complex issues into practical business terms.

What We’re Looking For

* Experience: 3+ years in IT systems, network infrastructure, or IT operations, with demonstrated hands-on ownership of production environments.

* Identity & Access: Proven track record setting up SSO integrations and automated SCIM provisioning beyond basic user administration.

* Endpoint Control: Demonstrated success managing multi-OS fleet deployments at scale via MDM solutions.

* Networking Mastery: Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals (packet capture analysis, custom VLAN design, enterprise Wi-Fi, and 802.1X protocols).

* Security First: Strong security instincts—you evaluate blast radius and access principles before making architectural changes.

* Automation Mindset: Hands-on experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate administrative tasks.

* Communication: Exceptional communication skills—patient with end-users, precise with technical peers, and meticulous with documentation.

Nice to Have / Advantages

* Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).

* Industry certifications (CCNA, Network+, Security+, or vendor-specific credentials).

* Background working in a high-growth, multi-site, or heavily regulated industry.

* Hands-on experience guiding an organization through its first formal compliance audit.
