Founding Data Engineer | AI x Cybersecurity | Stealth Startup

We're looking for an outstanding Data Engineer to join the founding team of one of the most exciting stealth cybersecurity startups currently being built in Israel.

This opportunity is intended for strong engineers with deep data experience who thrive in early-stage startups, enjoy building systems from scratch, and want to play a defining role in shaping both the technology and the product.

As one of the first engineers, you'll have end-to-end ownership and direct influence over the data architecture, backend systems, product capabilities, infrastructure, and technical direction from day one.

The company is building an AI-native cybersecurity platform tackling one of the biggest unsolved challenges in enterprise infrastructure. While still in stealth, the team is already working with global design partners, including some of the world's largest organizations, building for massive scale from the very beginning.

We're looking for engineers who:

• Have strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering and building production-grade data systems.

• Have experience with large-scale data pipelines, processing systems, and modern data infrastructure.

• Bring strong software engineering fundamentals and are comfortable working beyond a traditional Data Engineer scope.

• Have experience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, or similar data platforms, a strong advantage but not a must.

• Are comfortable working with cloud environments, backend systems, and production infrastructure.

• Take ownership from idea and architecture through implementation and production.

• Enjoy working in startup environments where engineers solve a broad range of technical and product problems.

• Hold a degree from a leading university and/or are graduates of elite military technology units.

• Previous startup, founding engineer, or technical leadership experience is a strong advantage.
