System Engineer | Netanya Area | Mid to Senior Level

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a System Engineer for an organization in the Netanya area. The role is part of an infrastructure team operating in a complex and critical Enterprise environment, with a strong Hands-On focus at the Mid to Senior level.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain System infrastructure in Production environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware virtualization environments

Work with enterprise Storage and Backup systems, as well as Microsoft 365 and Exchange

Manage and maintain network and information security infrastructure, including Switching, Routing, VLANs, Firewalls, and enterprise security solutions

Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Implement changes in Production environments

Lead infrastructure tasks end to end

Requirements

At least 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in System or Infrastructure roles is mandatory

Significant experience managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP is mandatory

Hands-on experience with VMware, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter, is mandatory

Experience with enterprise SAN and NAS Storage systems and Backup solutions is mandatory

Hands-on experience with enterprise networking, including Switching, Routing, VLANs, TCP/IP, Trunking, and STP, is mandatory

Experience managing enterprise Firewalls, including Policies, NAT, VPN, and Routing, is mandatory

Knowledge and experience with PowerShell for administration, automation, and Troubleshooting is mandatory
