Lead Project Manager

Matrix is hiring an experienced Cybersecurity Project Management Team Lead to join the Cyber Division of a leading government organization.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of project managers and drive complex, technology-driven cybersecurity initiatives in a highly professional and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Cybersecurity Project Managers
• Lead complex end-to-end cybersecurity and information security projects
• Build and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional and matrix-based teams across the organization
• Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity, Technology, Architecture, Security, and business stakeholders
• Manage relationships with external vendors, integrators, and international partners
• Prepare work plans, RFI/RFP documents, methodologies, procedures, specifications, and management reports
• Present project status, risks, blockers, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
• Manage and track project phases and deliverables using Monday
• Serve as a key point of contact between the Cybersecurity Technology domain and various organizational stakeholders

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in project management and/or cybersecurity consulting
• Proven experience managing Project Managers – mandatory
• 3+ years of experience in SecOps and/or cybersecurity management roles – mandatory
• Proven experience managing complex technological projects
• Strong experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies, and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent ability to prepare professional, methodological, and management documentation
• Strong leadership, communication, and matrix management skills
• Experience working with external vendors and technical teams in Israel and abroad
