Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer | Medical Device Company | Caesarea, Israel

An American-based medical device company with a manufacturing site in Caesarea is looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering team.

In this role, you'll be the bridge between engineering, R&D, and the production floor — leading engineering changes, hands-on CAD work, custom tooling design, and process validations. A great opportunity to gain real ownership and hands-on mentorship in a regulated, high-precision environment.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Author and execute Engineering Change Records (DCRs/ECOs), including hands-on CAD/drawing modifications in SolidWorks and pFMEA risk assessments

🔹 Design and maintain custom production jigs, inspection fixtures, and assembly tooling

🔹 Author, execute, and document IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols and reports

🔹 Partner closely with R&D on design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design transfer to mass production

🔹 Act as technical problem solver on the production floor, troubleshooting equipment and investigating NCRs

🔹 Author technical documentation, validation protocols, and SOPs in professional English

Qualifications:

✅ B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

✅ 1–3 years of hands-on mechanical/manufacturing engineering experience (relevant student experience in medical devices also considered)

✅ Strong, proven proficiency in SolidWorks — 3D parametric modeling, 2D manufacturing drawings, GD&T

✅ Familiarity with IQ/OQ/PQ validation processes — advantage

✅ High-level, fluent technical English — critical for this role

✅ Familiarity with ISO 13485 or FDA QSR — advantage

✅ Understanding of precision manufacturing (CNC machining, surface finishing, 3D printing) — advantage
