Senior Backend Developer - Join Wiv and Shape the Future of FinOps

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help us build the next generation of FinOps.

We’re looking for an engineer who can see beyond individual features and understand how the entire system fits together. Someone who can use AI to dramatically accelerate development while still understanding, reviewing, and owning the code and technical decisions behind it.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs
• Understand how changes affect the wider system, including services, data, infrastructure, and user experience
• Use AI extensively to explore, build, debug, refactor, and improve software
• Make sound technical decisions around scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability
• Build and maintain microservices and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams
• Diagnose complex technical issues and drive them to resolution

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software development experience
• Strong expertise in Python
• Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, databases, and distributed systems
• Experience with AWS and its core services
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Ability to understand complex systems and think about the impact of changes across the platform
• Strong engineering judgment and ability to work independently
• Experience using AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Advantages:
