Job Description

As part of the Software Development Team, you will be responsible for turning cutting-edge AI capabilities into production-ready deliverables that meet the highest standards of code architecture, efficiency and maintainability. You will design and build the distributed, event-driven backend services that power our platform at scale — and take a central role in building AI agents: the orchestration, tooling and infrastructure that turn our models into autonomous, production-grade capabilities.

Most of your responsibilities are (but not limited to):

• Being part of a Scrum team and participating in all Scrum ceremonies
• Designing and building AI agents — orchestration, tool/function calling, memory and integration of LLMs and other models into reliable production workflows
• Designing and implementing backend services and APIs — from detailed design through to production deployment
• Building and maintaining asynchronous, event-driven pipelines (message queues, workers, object storage)
• Bug fixing, performance improvement and optimization of high-throughput data and inference flows
• POCs and technology benchmarking
• Code documentation, peer design and code reviews
• Tightly collaborating with Product, Research and other engineering teams

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, or a graduate of a military technology unit
• 4–5 years of backend development experience
• High proficiency with Python and modern REST API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask or Django), including asynchronous programming (asyncio)
• Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / SQLAlchemy) and automated testing (pytest)
• Experience with Docker and microservices architectures
• Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications (agent frameworks, tool/function calling, RAG) — strong advantage
