Senior Cyber Security Researcher

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Researcher to join a challenging role at the intersection of advanced cyber research, technological intelligence, and threat analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research across cyber security domains, emerging threats, attack techniques, and technological developments.
• Analyze technological intelligence from multiple information sources.
• Identify patterns, trends, risks, and potential threats, and translate research findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Apply advanced cyber security research methodologies.
• Prepare professional assessments, research reports, and recommendations for relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical, intelligence, and cyber security teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven professional experience in cyber security research, technological intelligence, or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge and proven experience in cyber security.
• Hands-on experience with advanced cyber security research methodologies.
• Proven ability to analyze technological intelligence and extract meaningful, actionable insights.
• Strong analytical thinking, independent learning capabilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• A Level 3 security clearance is mandatory.

Education – Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Exact Sciences, Technological Engineering, or another relevant computing-related discipline.
• Practical Engineering diploma in Computer Science or a relevant technological field.
• Bachelor’s degree in another field, combined with at least 400 hours of professional cyber security training.
• Graduate of a recognized technological unit in the IDF, such as Mamram, Unit 8200, C4I, or an equivalent unit, with relevant technological experience, subject to approval.
