Global Supply Chain Director

A leading technology and manufacturing organization in the defense sector is seeking a highly experienced Global Supply Chain Director to lead its global procurement and supply chain operations.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing global organization and play a key role in driving strategic and operational excellence across the supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead global procurement operations at both strategic and tactical levels

• Manage procurement, import/export, and supply chain teams

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and annual cost reduction plans

• Lead supplier management and complex negotiations with global vendors

• Drive KPI performance, material availability, on-time delivery, and cost optimization initiatives

• Oversee risk mitigation programs across the supply chain

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders

• Manage subcontractors and ensure continuity through EOL and OBS processes

• Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

• Report directly to the Global VP of Operations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior Supply Chain or Procurement management role within a manufacturing environment

• Experience in the defense industry and/or electronics sector is highly preferred

• Proven experience leading teams and driving cross-functional initiatives

• Strong knowledge of materials planning, procurement, supplier management, and ERP systems

• Experience working with ERP systems, Priority is an advantage

• Advanced Excel skills

• Fluent English, both written and spoken

• Relevant academic degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field
