Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, reporting directly to the R&D Team Lead and driving end-to-end ownership of core platform capabilities and system architecture.
• Designing and building scalable, distributed backend microservices primarily in Python, integrating modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Leading technical design, architectural decisions, and best-practice engineering methodologies from concept to production.
• Developing and operating resilient cloud-native services deployed on AWS.
• Contributing across the full engineering stack when needed, including occasional client-side development in React.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Architecture, and Security Research teams to translate complex identity governance requirements into high-performance features.

Requirements-

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Backend software development – Mandatory
• Extensive hands-on background developing in Python, Node.js, or Go (strong proficiency with Python preferred) – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on development experience in Cloud environments (AWS preferred) – Mandatory
• Proven track record working within fast-paced Startup environments – Mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex software projects End-to-End (architecture, design, delivery) – Mandatory
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (such as React) – Advantage
• Background in Cybersecurity, IAM, Cloud Security, or machine identity platforms – Advantage
