Water Engineer

Role Description The Water Engineer will work full time on-site at the Rehovot office, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure and construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and designing water supply, treatment, and distribution systems, as well as wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations. The role involves performing hydraulic and hydrological calculations, preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications, and supporting permitting and regulatory submissions. The Water Engineer will participate in site visits, support construction supervision and quality assurance, and help optimize system performance and reliability. The position also includes coordination with clients, authorities, and internal engineering disciplines to ensure integrated, practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Water Supply and Water Distribution system design and analysis.
• Proficiency in Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment processes and technologies.
• Experience with Pump Stations, including sizing, layout, and hydraulic design.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and relevant design standards and regulations.
• Ability to prepare clear technical documentation, drawings, and reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in Rehovot, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with engineering design software (e.g., hydraulic modeling tools, CAD) is an advantage.
• Previous experience in infrastructure or water engineering projects in Israel or internationally is beneficial.
