R&D Board Design Engineer

Location: Haifa, Israel

Role Summary

Design high-performance mixed-signal boards with a strong focus on signal integrity, manufacturability, and long-term system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

· Design schematics and guide PCB layout activities

· Select components and define electrical and layout constraints

· Perform SI/PI analysis for high-speed designs

· Lead board bring-up, validation, and debugging activities

· Support production, ECOs, and lifecycle management

· Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and system teams

Qualifications:

· Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. MSc – advantage.

· 7 years of board-level design experience

Preferred Qualifications

· Proficiency with EDM - Siemens tool

· Strong background in high-speed design (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet)

· Hands-on laboratory debugging experience

· Experience with FPGA-based systems

· Exposure to medical or other regulated industries

· Knowledge of thermal and power design considerations

Work Model:

Hybrid Work: non-electable 3 days on-site, 2-days remote if tasks permit. Hybrid model may change in future.

Innovation Focus: primary focus on future product development with occasional support of sustaining the existing production line.
