About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary executive to lead a major business division operating at the forefront of advanced defense and space technologies.

As Executive Vice President and Head of the Missile and Space Systems Division, you will have overall business and operational responsibility for a large-scale, technology-driven division operating in a matrix organization.

The division focuses primarily on missile and weapon systems, satellites, command and control systems, sensors, electro-optics, navigation, and other advanced defense technologies.

The role combines strategic leadership with full business and operational responsibility, including project execution, complex testing and development programs, manufacturing and delivery, risk management, business development, international marketing, customer engagement, and large-scale contract negotiations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and executing the division's business strategy and long-term growth plans.
• Leading complex development, testing, production, and delivery programs.
• Developing and implementing marketing and business development strategies in Israel and international markets.
• Building and maintaining strategic relationships with customers, defense organizations, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders.
• Leading negotiations and supporting the signing of large-scale contracts in Israel and abroad.
• Defining long-term product-line strategies and establishing supporting R&D roadmaps.
• Driving technological innovation and organizational transformation.
• Developing and strengthening the division's professional workforce and leadership capabilities.
• Representing the division and the organization before senior defense, governmental, regulatory, and industry stakeholders.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

About the Division

The Missile and Space Systems Division operates at the forefront of cutting-edge and breakthrough technologies worldwide.

The division comprises five business units specializing in missile and weapon systems for both offensive and defensive applications, space systems, electro-optics, and navigation technologies.

The division employs approximately 4,500 employees, with approximately $3.5 billion in external sales and an order backlog of approximately $20 billion.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements

• Israeli citizenship.
• Academic degree from a recognized institution.
• At least 7 years of experience managing a business unit or company, or at least 7 years of senior management experience in fields relevant to the division.
• Proven experience in business negotiations.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.

Professional Qualifications

• Significant professional and managerial experience beyond the minimum requirements.
• Proven experience managing international/export business negotiations.
• Experience working with the financial systems of a large organization.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Experience working with subsidiaries, strategic partnerships, or joint ventures.
• General knowledge of international contracts and commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with the geographic markets in which the division operates.

Additional Information

• The position requires meeting the security clearance requirements applicable to the role.
• Employment will be under a personal employment agreement in accordance with the applicable terms and regulations for senior executives.
• The term of appointment for senior executives is five years, with the possibility of extension in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational needs.
• The appointment process will be conducted in accordance with applicable Israeli law and regulations.
• Candidates may be required to undergo interviews, assessments, background checks, and a security clearance process.
